If a previous version of SSImXel is already installed, users can simply run EasUpdate.bat to update easily.
However, if SSImXel is installed in a location that requires administrator privileges for file overwrite,
the update must be run with administrator rights.


Step 1 — Check Existing Installation
        
         If a previous version of SSImXel is already installed on your system, you can proceed with the update.



Step 2 — Run the Update Script
        
         To update SSImXel, simply run EasUpdate.bat.
         This will automatically apply the latest update.

Step 3 —  Administrator Permission Requirement
         
         If SSImXel is installed in a directory that requires administrator privileges for file overwrite 
         (for example, Program Files or other protected system locations),
         the update must be executed with administrator rights.

Step 4 — How to Run as Administrator
        
          a. Right‑click EasUpdate.bat
          b. Select “Run as administrator”
          c. Approve the permission prompt to continue

Step 5 — Complete the Update 
       
          Once the script finishes, SSImXel will be updated to the latest version
